1. What is coco coir?

3. What is the difference between washed and unwashed cocopeat?
- Washed cocopeat has lower electrical conductivity (EC) due to the removal of excess salts, making it suitable for most plants.
- Unwashed cocopeat is raw and may have higher EC; it is often used where salinity is less of a concern, or further processing is planned.
4. What is EC, and why does it matter?
EC (Electrical Conductivity) measures salt content in the medium. Lower EC (<0.5 mS/cm) is ideal for sensitive plants. We provide both low EC washed and buffered coco coir options.
5. Do you offer custom packaging or private labeling?
Yes, we offer custom packaging, branding, and labeling for your orders. Please let us know your specifications, and we will provide a quote accordingly.
6. What are the specifications of your product?
For standard 5kg blocks:
- Weight: 4.5 – 5 kg
- Expansion: 15–17 liters/kg
- pH: 5.5 – 6.5
- Moisture: <20%

7. Where do you ship from and to?
We ship from India/Sri Lanka, depending on your sourcing preference. We ship exclusively to the mainland USA. We offer both FOB and CIF shipping terms.
8. Can I get a sample before placing a large order?
Yes, samples can be arranged. Shipping charges are at cost and are based on weight and ship to address.
9. How long is the lead time for bulk orders?
Lead times vary by season and volume, but generally:
